The Obsidian overhead reel is built around the frame of the massively popular Accurate Boss Extreme range, and brings improvements in weight, power, and performance. it features a longer power-arm for increased torque when fighting fish, while the new 'X-ARB' anti-reverse bearing provides improved strength and durability over previous generations. Because of this, we were able to remove the anti-reverse dogs, reducing the weight and mechanical complexity.
