It features a multistrand stainless steel core - making it slightly springy yet ultra tough - perfect for fighting against toothy brutes. And what's more you can easily cut it with strong braid scissors and tied into bite-proof assist hooks for jigging.
The easiest assist hook to construct consists of a simple overhand knot with hook inserted and clinched tightly with pliers in both directions. Place a drop of quality cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) to the knot and heat shrink a short sleeve over it. With the Jigstar Metalcore Assist Cord, you're more than ready to jig amongst the razor gang and toothy accomplices! Available in 3m lengths of 50, 100, 150 & 200lb wire-cored assist cord.
