The Shimano Forcemaster 9000A Electric Reel delivers outstanding winding speed and strength, high drag ratings and generous line capacity to cover a variety of water depths, from inshore to over the continental shelf. It offers a programmable and manual mode to cover different fishing techniques, from deep dropping to jigging.
The Rod
The team at Shimano Fishing NZ have developed a dynamic and versatile series of rods that has been designed to fit directly in to the kiwi market. The Shimano Vortex Bent Butt Deep Drop Rod is made with a Power-Carbon blank specially designed to take the knocks. And what's more it has an integrated glass tip to retain sensitivity from the bite to the fight and also enhance overall performance without compromise.
