The Bite Boat Longline Backbone is a great replacement if your longline ever gets damaged from general wear and tear. The backbone is spooled in reverse so it can be wound straight on to your reel. It features a 40-metre dropper from the buoy loop to the protected anchor loop and a 28-metre leader to the first crimp. There are 52 evenly spaced crimps at 1.8 metres apart, then a 28-metre leader to the second anchor loop, and another 40-metre dropper back to the second buoy.
