The VETUS LIBEC Silicone Cowl Ventilator is made from silicone rubber - a very flexible material with a service temperature range between -100°C and +200°C. It's resistant to UV light and doesn't discolour, so it always looks like it's brand new. The cowl ventilator is removable. The ring nuts and mating deck flanges are made from hard synthetic. The internal colour is red.
