The Eagle Claw 190 Circle Hook is offset for a better set on gamefish including Marlin, Broadbill, Tuna, Groper and Kingfish and has greater holding power, more hook-ups, fewer drop-offs and it holds bait better. It's made using the finest specifically designed, heavy gauge, premium high carbon steel that is carefully formed, moulded, forged, and heat-treated for unsurpassed strength. To ensure that every hook provides the perfect hookset and holding power, careful attention is paid to create the ultimate point with surgical sharpness. Eagle Claw uses their premium needle tip design to make sure the hook maintains its sharpness under the harshest of saltwater conditions.
Hook set is not required and by design, when the fish turns to run, the circle hook will rotate into the fish's mouth and slide into the corner of the jaw, even if originally swallowed. Fight the fish as you normally do and enjoy a very high percentage of hook-ups!
