Marine Town Stainless Self Aligning Anchor holds well in sand and mud bottoms. Bright polished stainless steel construction with slimline profile. Features chamfered shank edging and integral anchor connector for streamlined connection to anchor chain. Cast stainless steel bow rollers designed specifically to accept Nautilus anchors.
Marine Town Self Aligning Nautilus Anchors roll upright, irrespective of initial drop altitude, within two shank lengths of engaging the seabed. High holding power is obtained by the highly efficient fluke and shank design. Low retrieval force results from the short, broad, single fluke. Retrieval force is generally 30% of the prior holding power. Generally finished in hot dipped galvanising but also popular in cast 316 grade stainless steel.

Choosing the Correct D-Shackle Size:
When buying an anchor for your boat, you will need the appropriate D-Shackle to connect the rope and chain to your anchor. The recommended D-Shackle size for connecting your anchor to your chain is to get the next size up from your chain size. So if the chain is 6mm then an 8mm D-shackle is recommended. If it's a 7mm chain then an 8mm or 9mm D-shackle is recommended, etc.
