Slide-baiting technique
Slide-baiting literally means sliding your bait out to sea from the rocks or beach. It allows you to deploy a large bait further from shore - with greater accuracy - than any other conventional surfcasting technique. What makes it unique is that you don’t cast the bait, only the sinker. After casting the sinker, you simply attach the slide bait rig (with bait attached) and float it out using the current, or a gentle lifting of the rod tip.
