Coastguard Membership features:
Coastguard membership gets you free non-urgent on-water assistance in all the popular boating areas around the country. If you’re not a member, it could cost you $350 per hour, so it’s worth being a member!
An Individual Membership covers you, your spouse and any kids under 18 on any vessel – you can be out on your boat or a mate’s, and if something goes wrong on the water, Coastguard will be there to help.
New members get $75 off the popular Day Skipper course, which you can sit online or in a classroom.
You also get a 10% discount on other popular Coastguard boating courses, including the Maritime VHF Operator’s Certificate.
Becoming a member:
Two working days after you purchase your Coastguard membership from Marine Deals, you’ll receive a welcome email from Coastguard with your membership number and digital membership card.
Then within 2 weeks you’ll receive a welcome pack in the post to the address you provided when you purchased your membership.
Your Membership will be valid for one year from the time you receive your Coastguard welcome email. And don’t worry, they’ll let you know when it comes up for renewal.
