The Cobra MRHH600 DSC Floating Handheld VHF Radio is Cobra's first handheld radio that shows your GPS coordinates and automatically transmits them with DSC calls to notify the Coast Guard or other vessels of your exact position in case of emergency. This life-saving radio also features a floating orange core so it's easy to see in the water and has a built-in flashlight and emergency strobe.

Digital Selective Calling (DSC Class-D)
Allows the ability to maintain a listening watch on VHF Channel 16 while simultaneously monitoring Channel 70 for DSC calls. Allows sending a distress message at the touch of a button as well as specific station-to-station calls. Radio utilises two (2) built-in encoders (receivers).
Note: DSC channels are not monitored by emergency services in New Zealand.

Floating
Never lose your radio. Floating design and orange core make retrieving the radio easy if dropped overboard. Must use included battery to float.

MOB (Man Over Board)
The radio-dedicated MOB button marks and memorises the position information if a crew member falls overboard.

BURP
The Cobra-exclusive BURP feature expels water from the speaker grill if the unit is dropped in the water or is subjected to extreme rain and weather.
