CorrosionX XD Extended Duty Anti-Rust Lubricant is a medium build (thickened) version of CorrosionX. Its higher viscosity offers longer-term resilience against displacement of removal by splash or spray. And what's more it penetrates existing rust and corrosion, displaces moisture and prevents electrolysis. CorrosionX XD leaves a non-hardening, self-healing coating for maximum protection against moisture intrusion, while providing outstanding, long-lasting lubrication for all moving parts. Plus it performs on already wet and corroded surfaces as well.

CorrosionX XD contains no wax, tar or silicone, and unlike wax coatings, will not dry, harden or crack under stress. Safe on point, glass, gelcoat, wiring insulation, most rubber, plastics and electronics.

CorrosionX Spray Instructions:

1. Load the sprayer or a “kero-gun” with CorrosionX or CorrosionX XD (Xtended Duty)
2. Set pressure on the feeder line from the compressor to 60-80 psi.
3. Spray a thin film onto the surface so it looks as fatty as your hand after having “Fish and chips”. You want to coat whatever metal surface, electrics and electronics with a VERY thin coating, to give the surface just a “wet” look. Any surplus applied will not harm anything but your budget. Any surplus will dribble out from cavities, rivets and screw holes without causing any trouble or consequences.

Safety Precautions:

• DO NOT spray CorrosionX onto anything which works with friction like winch brakes as it is a fantastic lubricant
• DO NOT use CorrosionX where you want to paint. NOTHING sticks to CorrosionX
• To properly remove CorrosionX, use CorrosionX Xtreme Clean, “Wax and Grease remover”, or Acetone/ MEK
• Be careful not to slip from ladders, scaffolding or on the floor! Product has unlimited life span, so it will not evaporate or go away by itself. Clean up spillage.
• Wear a dust mask or better PPE for prolonged spraying or spraying in confined spaces
