The rock solid aluminium frame and side plates are highly corrosion resistant and provide an impenetrable housing for Lexa HD's bulletproof gearing system. HVF Nanoplus combines precise resin control with unidirectional graphite fibre to produce a blank with maximum graphite density and a light responsive action. Blank performance is further enhanced courtesy of X45, by eliminating twist and preventing the blank from losing its round form, X45 allows a lighter a small diameter blank to be made, and lighter more dynamic rod to be created.

The Daiwa UVF Saltiga Durasensor X8 +Si2 Braid is masterfully crafted in Japan using the latest Daiwa technology to produce a silky smooth, super thin line that’s perfect for a host of fishing scenarios. This 8-weave braided line features Daiwa’s muscle PE fibres for higher abrasion resistance and enhanced durability. Despite its extremely thin diameter, the Saltiga Durasensor X8 is super tough with fibres 4x more abrasion resistant than normal braided lines.

Not all braid coatings are created equal. The latest Daiwa Si2+ silicon coating impregnates the individual fibres rather than coating them for a longer-lasting finish which aids in hydrophobicity and line management.
