The Lewmar Delta Anchor 16kg is a self-launching anchor. That means the anchor will fall away from the bow under its own weight when the chain is paid out.

Choosing the Correct D-Shackle Size:
When buying an anchor for your boat, you will need the appropriate D-Shackle to connect the rope and chain to your anchor. The recommended D-Shackle size for connecting your anchor to your chain is to get the next size up from your chain size. So if the chain is 6mm then an 8mm D-shackle is recommended. If it's a 7mm chain then an 8mm or 9mm D-shackle is recommended, etc.
