This Strap-On Portable Electric Reel Lithium Battery allows you to use your Power-Assist electric reels in the most convenient way possible! It conveniently attaches to your rod and plugs directly into your electric reel, giving you the capability to fish longer and anywhere on the boat without having excess wires laying on the deck. It comes complete with neoprene sleeve, and a charging unit. This new model now comes with LED battery level indicator, silicone straps, and improved rugged design to handle bumps and knocks. It's power and convenience rolled into one. A must-have for all Power Assist Electric Reel owners.
Charging Method:
- Connect the charging unit to the battery, ensuring to line up the points on the connector. Failure to do this will short circuit the charger and battery, resulting in damage to the charger and battery
- Connect the charger to power supply
- When charging the indicator will be red in colour, When the battery is fully charged the light will turn green
- Charging time may vary from 5 - 10 hours depending on the level of power left in the battery after use
- Initial charging time will be 8-10 hours

Note 1: For electric reel use only. The battery only has a 6 month warranty. Standard 12 month warranty applicable for the charging unit only.

The battery apparently is a 'white label' item. It has no label of manufacture nor a name who it is made by. Due to this it not possible to find or review this item on the web. Also the straps are little plastic straps with buckles....rubbish. They should be velcro.
For the price this item is over priced and I regret purchasing. If there is a return with money back I will take it.

Expensive but just what I wanted. Fitted on the rod it saves having
hanging cords tripping you up especially on a heaving, awash deck.
