More than just a fish spike

The Ultimate Fish Spike and Measure is made of 316 stainless steel and features a dagger type handle for ease of grip and handling. It comes complete with a handy built-in bottle opener, a Scallop, Paua, Crayfish tail and 30cm fish measure. To clean, simply wash with fresh water.

Fish Spiking Guide
Snapper should be spiked with it laying on its side. The correct spot is one eye ball diameter back from the eye and in line with the lateral line of the backbone.

Gurnard should be spiked with it laying on its belly. The correct spot is between the eyes and slightly to the rear.

Trout should be spiked with it laying on its belly. The correct spot is between the eyes and approximately 20mm back. Large Trout to be spiked as per a Snapper

Blue Cod should be spiked with it laying on its belly. The correct spot is between the eyes and slightly to the rear.
