The all-new SwellPro Fisherman FD3 Profish Fishing Drone is a water-resistant drone that will get any tough job done. It consolidates several advantages from its fishing drone siblings: the power efficiency from FD1, the ease of use from SD4 and the enhanced safety from Max. The FD3 Profish version features a 4K camera video system and a dual payload bait release system.

2.2kg Bait Capacity
The SwellPro Fisherman FD3 Profish Fishing Drone is reliable for carrying baits of up to 2.2 kg into the ocean. The great lifting power is drawn from a high capacity and high voltage 6S battery, high thrust motors and large-sized carbon fibre propellers.

Up to 5 Drops per Charge
In addition to more thrust, the new ESC’s inside the FD3 enable unprecedented power-to-payload ratio. FD3 can deliver up to 5 drops of 800g baits over 600m on a single full battery charge.

Calibration-Free
Fisherman FD3 is factory-calibrated and doesn’t require re-calibration. The drone can fly stably without calibration on any beach in the world.

Auto-Drop and Return
Fisherman FD3 can automatically release the baits and fly back to the shore in case of low battery and loss of signal.

GPS 9.0 and Smooth Controls
The latest 9th-gen GPS, compared with predecessors, makes great improvements in assisting FD3's flight by providing accurate positioning, navigation, and several safety features. Flying the SwellPro Fisherman FD3 Profish Fishing Drone doesn’t require a great level of skills. SwellPro has lowered the sensitivity of the FD3 controls to avoid exaggerated movements. This reduces the risks of drone crashes and loss of control.

Advanced Flight Controller
To ensure a safe return after every bait drop, we completely reprogrammed the flight controller of FD3. Advanced algorithms enhance flight stability while the drone is carrying a baited line during flight. The new flight controller features higher resistance against interference, temperature and vibration, maintaining peak performance in varying environments and operations.

IPX5 Saltwater and Corrosion Resistant
The SwellPro Fisherman FD3 Profish Fishing Drone is made to resist saltwater, and it has been dunk-tested to ensure it stands up to the ocean. The fuselage is made from marine-grade ABS to increase durability in a marine environment. The water-resistant motors, bait release and internal electronics of FD3 are coated with a corrosion-resistant layer, adding an extra level of protection against the salty air and spray around the ocean.

Self Floating and Automatic Flip
SwellPro designed FD3 with sufficient buoyancy on the aircraft itself. The drone can keep floating when landing on the water. Then, you can control it to take off again from the water and fly back to the shore. If the FD3 accidentally capsizes in the water, you can use the joysticks to flip it back to its normal position, and take off!

Level 6 Wind Resistance
Thanks to the powerful propulsion system and GPS 9.0, FD3 can maintain a stable position and altitude in winds up to 25 knots.

Fisherman-Friendly Remote Controller
The remote controller of the SwellPro Fisherman FD3 Profish Fishing Drone has a sleek game-console design for maximum comfort. The interface is clean with well-labelled buttons for intuitive control. Pilots can rely on the on-screen telemetry, video feedback and voice alerts to get situational awareness of the aircraft in real-time. A splash-proof and sand-proof body allows the remote controller to survive on the beach. There is no room for mistakes when you are controlling the FD3. The Profish remote controller has an inbuilt multi-colour display that can show the drone’s live footage in 720P.

4K Fish Spotting Camera
The SwellPro Fisherman FD3 Profish Fishing Drone Pack comes with a 4K stabilized camera that can shoot detail-rich photos and videos. The camera can be tilted up or down via the remote controller to broaden the pilot’s field of view. With clear aerial video feedback, land-based anglers cannot only see reefs and rocks but even spot fish on the water – knowing when and where to drop baits.

FDFly App
Drone-cast at your fingertips. The FDFly APP enables several autopilot features on the FD3. That makes it even easier for anglers who have no piloting experience to fly baits out.

1.6 Km Casting Range
The SwellPro Fisherman FD3 Profish Fishing Drone can operate at a range of up to 1.6 km (1 mile). Dual rotatable antennas enhance signal transmission in multiple directions, preventing loss of signal when the drone flies close to the water. Land-based anglers can easily cast a long line and drop baits in faraway locations. Casting baits with SwellPro is 100% hassle-free and more time-saving than using a boat or a kayak.

Slide-in Battery
Open the hatch door, slide the battery into the compartment, hit the power button, and you are good to go! Swapping battery is quick and easy and can be done in a matter of seconds on the beach. The hatch door has a rubber seal that will resist water entry when it is closed.

Disclaimer: The New Zealand version of Fisherman FD3 is water resistant, which means it will resist water entry to an IPX5 level. For technical reasons, some parts of the drone are purposely designed to be not 100% sealed or watertight and therefore the drone should not be submerged under water. If the drone comes in contact with saltwater, the user is advised to wash any saltwater off with fresh water. Always follow all documentation, videos and instruction manuals that come with the drone.
