It consolidates several advantages from its fishing drone siblings: the power efficiency from FD1, the ease of use from SD4 and the enhanced safety from Max. This FD3 standard version dedicates 100% of its power to carrying baits.

2.2kg Bait Capacity
The SwellPro Fisherman FD3 Fishing Drone is reliable for carrying baits of up to 2.2 kg into the ocean. The great lifting power is drawn from a high capacity and high voltage 6S battery, high thrust motors and large-sized carbon fiber propellers.
Up to 5 Drops per Charge
In addition to more thrust, the new ESC’s inside the FD3 enable unprecedented power-to-payload ratio. FD3 can deliver up to 5 drops of 800g baits over 600m on a single full battery charge.
Calibration-Free
Fisherman FD3 is factory-calibrated and doesn’t requirere-calibration. The drone can fly stably without calibration on any beach of the world.
Auto-Drop and Return
Fisherman FD3 can automatically release the baits and fly back to the shore in case of low battery and loss of signal.
GPS 9.0
The latest 9th-gen GPS, compared with predecessors, makes great improvements in assisting FD3's flight by providing accurate positioning, navigation, and several safety features.
Smooth Control
Flying FD3 doesn’t require a great level of skills. We’ve lowered the sensitivity of the FD3 controls to avoid exaggerated movements. This reduces the risks of drone crash and loss of control.
Advanced Flight Controller
To ensure a safe return after every bait drop, SwellPro has completely reprogrammed the flight controller of FD3. Advanced algorithms enhance flight stability while the drone is carrying a baited line during flight. The new flight controller features higher resistance against interference, temperature and vibration, maintaining peak performance in varying environments and operations.
IPX5 Saltwater and Corrosion Resistant
The SwellPro Fisherman FD3 Fishing Drone is made to resist saltwater, and it has been dunk-tested to ensure it stands up to the ocean. The fuselage is made from marine-grade ABS to increase durability in a marine environment. The water-resistant motors, bait release and internal electronics of FD3 are coated with a corrosion-resistant layer, adding an extra level of protection against the salty air and spray around the ocean.
Self Floating and Automatic Flip
SwellPro designed FD3 with sufficient buoyancy on the aircraft itself. The drone can keep floating when landing on the water. Then, you can control it to take off again from the water and fly back to the shore. If the FD3 accidentally capsizes in the water, you can use the joysticks to flip it back to its normal position, and take off!
Level 6 Wind Resistance
Thanks to the powerful propulsion system and GPS 9.0, FD3 can maintain a stable position and altitude in winds up to 25 knots.

The remote controller of FD3 has a sleek game-console design for maximum comfort. The interface is clean with well-labelled buttons for intuitive control. The SwellPro Fisherman FD3 Fishing Drone can operate at a range of up to 1.6 km (1 mile). Dual rotatable antennas enhance the signal transmission in multiple directions, preventing loss-of-signal when the drone flying close to the water. Slide-in Battery

Disclaimer: The New Zealand version of Fisherman FD3 is water resistant, which means it will resist water entry to an IPX5 level. For technical reasons, some parts of the drone are purposely designed to be not 100% sealed or watertight and therefore the drone should not be submerged under water. If the drone comes in contact with saltwater, the user is advised to wash any saltwater off with fresh water. Always follow all documentation, videos and instruction manuals that come with the drone. Drones are a fantastic way to get your bait out where the big fish are.
However, there are a few safety considerations that are important to understand and follow when flying a drone:
1. You are operating a semi-autonomous aircraft. They are not toys and need to be respected. Learn how to operate them safely.
2. Don’t fly the drone near people, animals, buildings or other items that might be damaged. Fly only in open areas and remain aware of your surroundings.
3. Never try to grab or catch the drone when its propellers are running. The props are sharp and will cause serious injury to any body part that get in their way.

About Swellpro / Splashdrone Batteries
Please note - the warranty on the batteries of your new drone is 3 months - not twelve (which the rest is covered for).Unfortunately, it's quite common for people to spend a day out with a drone, then bring it all back home, store them without properly recharging the batteries first (75%) and then find the batteries don't work as expected when they next pull them out to use the drone again. Fishing Drone Warranty Details
We've got you covered if your drone has a manufacturing fault. But we don't cover damage caused by crashing or not following the instructions.
Sometimes, it's tricky to 100% determine if the problem is a product fault or user error. In those cases, we'll propose a solution that could work for both of us. This solution is likely to involve splitting costs for replacement or repair. If we can't help with a warranty repair or replacement, we'll send your drone back to you in the same condition as received.
It's also worth remembering that the drone, the batteries, and the accessories all have differing warranty periods, as indicated in your manual. This is because batteries, in particular, need to be stored and charged according to the manual.
