Semperfli Kapok Fly Tying Dubbing is the ultimate dubbing for your fly tying needs. It’s super buoyant that it’s known as the life jacket of flies! Kapok is a natural hollow fibre that when dubbed into split thread retains its buoyancy, helping dry flies float better than any other natural dubbing.

Some tyers refer to Kapok Dubbing as ‘instant mole fur’ because of its very short fibre. It’s absolutely ideal for tiny dry flies and great for nymphs. It provides perfect definition on small flies instead of an ‘explosion’ of bulky traditional dubbing on a small hook. Kapok is also moisture-resistant, quick-drying, resilient and weighs only one-eight as much as cotton.
