Woodstock IGFA Green Spot Dacron Lines are heat set and waterproofed. Their low stretch and high abrasive resistance equals Trophy power! Used by more and more “finicky” fishermen every year!
When gamefishing, a full spool of mono wound on too tight can result in catastrophic failure of the reel spool. To counteract this problem a Top-Shot of mono over 2/3 of a spool of dacron will prevent the crushing effect of nylon after a long fight. The mono top shot will be cheaper to replace and will give you just enough stretch to absorb any shock loading from heavy drag settings.
