The Johnson Evinrude 2+4 Fuel Conditioner conditions fuel, protects the complete fuel system and extends useful shelf life when added to fresh fuels. Ideal for day-to-day operation, particularly during periods of engine non-use.
Gasoline, as purchased at the pump, has a guaranteed shelf life of three months. The Johnson Evinrude 2+4 Fuel Conditioner extends shelf life in a number of ways. Metal deactivators render brass or copper alloys chemically inactive toward gasoline, anti-oxidants slow the chemical breakdown of gasoline, corrosion inhibitors help reduce long-term corrosion of metal fuel system components and dryers to absorb and isolate moisture in the fuel system.
