The HANAK Competition METALLIC+ Tungsten Beads play different roles during fishing. They attract fish by their flashes and colours, their weight also enables the nymphs to sink quickly to the fishing zone and keeps flies in the correct position. Tungsten has a specific weight of 18 kg/dm3, which is nearly twice as much as lead. Therefore, your flies can be significantly smaller and slimmer while maintaining the same weight, and thus much more attractive to fish. A big plus on busy waters! Tungsten nymphs are essential for fishing in deep pools and fast streams.

Specifically designed for use with jig hooks, the special hole allows the bead to slide over the angled eye of the jig and the hook to run upside-down during presentation. This tying method reduces the chance of getting stuck on the river bottom.
