The Furuno 520-IHD In-Hull Transducer easily adjusts to hull dead rise angles up to 22°. This ensures that the beam is vertically oriented to receive echoes, resulting in accurate depth readings. The 600W dual frequency element (50 & 200kHz) is very sensitive holding bottom at high speeds. The transducer is supplied complete with wet box and pig-tail for joining a speed temp sensor where all connections are hidden below deck.

Unlike traditional "puck" type transducers, this transducer's P79 style housing consists of a base that is bonded to the hull and filled with liquid. The separate transducer then attaches to the base with a twist lock. The sound waves travel more efficiently through the liquid, giving the best possible performance. And what's more installation is very simple as there is no need to drill through hull holes.
