Even in poor quality power situations, the charging power does not decrease. The PowerCharger can provide DC power through an included auxiliary power supply even if there are no batteries connected.

Installation is made easier by a number of features. Using high frequency switch mode technology, the PowerCharger can be packed into compact and lightweight unit while remaining extremely efficient (Power factor corrected >98%). An ignition protected rating allows installation almost anywhere aboard-including the engine compartment. Variable speed fans sense and adjust to ambient temperatures to offer a consistent charge in a wide range of environments. Captive screws and keyhole slots allow installers to hang' and secure the charger making installation in space limited locations easier.
