1. Lift up your catch by the line. Hold line about 7" from your fish and thread the line through the line guide of the hook remover
2. Keep the line taut while sliding the hook remover down the line into the fish's throat until you feel the hook engage.
3. After engaging the hook, pull the line tight. Now pull the trigger and your fish will drop off.
