Drop-down gearbox, swept in handle and Ergo grip handle knob accentuate balance and delivery of power from the XL gearing, red anodised machined aluminium spool and multi-disc Carbonite drag system. Graphite frame and side plates maintain a feather light feel and balance while increasing corrosion resistance. From the beach, pier and jetty or the deck of a sportfisher, the Okuma Cortez is perfect for lures, live and chunk bait with casting governed by an externally adjustable magnetic cast control system. Plus it's pre-spooled with braid - ready to fish.

The 2-piece blank construction features a combination of carbon and glass mixture for ultimate strength. Fish fighting has never been so comfortable thanks to its EVA fore and rear grips. Plus, this rod is equipped with double footed stainless steel guide frames with polished titanium oxide inserts, cushioned stainless steel hooded real seat and durable non-skid rubber gimbals.
