Unique anchor lock for your safety
With a 100% 316 stainless steel housing and a sleek flush-mount design that hides the motor down below, the Lewmar V700G Vertical Windlass Winch is one of the most attractive and durable windlasses on the market. It works at the push of a button and has two built-in features that make it unique - motor protection and anchor lock.
Manual Freefall function instructions:
- Disengage the capstan drive by pressing the plunger button on
the capstan drive cap and pressing the locking button until the
plunger remains in the down position.
- Release any anchor locks
- When safe insert the Lewmar wrench in to the capstan drive cap. Rotate clockwise to grip the gypsy and anti-clockwise to free the gypsy controlling the rate of descent of the anchor. Once deployed adjust desired scope if using a rope/chain, lock the clutch by turning the drive cap clockwise and engage the anchor locks. Remove the wrench handle.
