Lightweight, powerful and durable

The Okuma Tournament Concept OH Jigging Rod is built using Okuma’s patented Unidirectional Fibre Reinforcement technology. It's designed for Kiwi anglers by the team at Composite Developments, manufactured using a patented process with an outer layer of longitudinal fibres around the rod blank to significantly increase strength and power in the tip section. This offers lifting power and strength up to four times conventional graphite rods. Lightweight and powerful with a parabolic action to exert maximum pressure on the fish. Designed specifically for New Zealand conditions, this rod is a high performance option that represents extraordinary value for money.

The Okuma Tournament Concept OH Jigging Rod features an ‘Acid-Wrap’ guide configuration eliminating twisting of the rod blank and is an ideal choice for lighter jigs in coastal regions. It works jigs throughout its recommended weight range extremely well, and has an impressive amount of power for a lightweight jig rod. It also doubles as an excellent live bait rod with its slightly softer tip, making it a great all-round kingfish option.
