The Sunline Blue Horizon IGFA Game Line features the exclusive surface resin processing (SRP) technology for absolute minimum saltwater absoprtion so the line will stay line new for longer. If saltwater is absorbed into your line, the water evaporates leaving salt crystals inside. This makes your line appear milky and weakens the structure of the monofilament. It also has built-in UV-R inhibitors to block damage caused by the sun's harsh rays which is a real problem in the New Zealand climate.

The Blue Horizon Line is very soft and supple making it very easy to knot and retains very high knot strength. Stretch is approx 20%, so this line absorbs shock very well, making it better for novice anglers and for top shooting onto Dacron or braid compared to low stretch mono.
