In a SeaTalk installation, the Raymarine SeaTalkng Spur Cable connects individual devices to the backbone cable via T-pieces. This spur cable allows data and power to be carried to the backbone from the attached device. However, if your spur cable is not in use, cover the socket using the Raymarine SeaTalkng Blanking Plug for protection. This is an important accessory to make sure your SeaTalk Network cable is capped to keep the system watertight.
