Lock and load

The NU-D Shackle Lock is fitted into the space between the shackle and the link of the chain to lock the shackle in place. Preparing and using the lock is easy, simply put the pieces in a cup of hot water before use, take the black piece out after a minute and place in a flat surface with the hole on top, then push the link down over the lock. When that’s done, take the white piece and push it into the lock's hole, and you’re good to go!

Product Fitting Instructions

Note: Try not to let your shackle lock pieces cool down too much before you insert them into the chain-link as they will harden as they cool. This makes it a bit harder to insert. When using hot water, please take care not to spill this onto your skin. The best way to retrieve the piece from the cup of hot water – is to use a spoon.
