Details
Strongly built from NZ pine with a fully varnished finish. Typically oar length should be 1.4 to 1.5 times the boat's beam, although factors such as freeboard, experience and boat style also affect the decision. 1.5m and 1.65m oars have 40mm shafts. Oars longer than 1.8m have 44mm shafts. Priced per pair, although oars can be ordered singly.
