Stainless steel is famously corrosion resistant - but it's not corrosion proof. The black powder coating of the stainless Oceanblue Outrigger Base adds a durable, protective layer that provides extra corrosion resistance. This outrigger base includes nylon gaskets that go between the mounting feet and side of your boat to help prevent corrosion if fitting to an aluminium hull. Plus, its multiple clamping and mounting positions makes installation a breeze.
