The Okuma SLV Taimer XTCII No.8 Fly Combo has everything you need to get fly fishing. It has the large, reliable design of the SLV Large Arbour Fly Reel for rapid line retrieval. The reel is paired up with the Taimer XTCII No.8 Fly Rod which is ideal for fishing in rivers and streams. These Okuma fly fishing gear also comes complete with a CDX Combo Fly Line and 20lb Backing.

The Reel
The Okuma SLV Large Arbour Fly Reel keeps pace with the fast species in the water with a super large arbour spool design for blazing fast line retrieval. This reel features a diecast aluminium frame, precision machined stainless steel spool shaft, one-way roller bearing and multi-disc cork and stainless steel drag system. The easy conversion between left- and right-handed fly line retrieve makes this reel versatile for any angler. With its ability to reel in line at a massively faster pace you'll be able bring your catch in quickly.

The Rod
The Taimer XTCII No.8 Fly Rod is built with practical performance in mind. Designed by Composite Developments and featuring high modulus graphite with a mid/fast action flex, aluminum components, resin wood reel seat, and stripping/snake guides typically found on rods with a much higher price tag. A great entry level rod with quality components and great action for streams and rivers.

The Line
The CDX Combo Fly Line WF8 Floater delivers dependable flotation and durability. Since this line floats, it's more versatile and allows you to use a dry fly that stays on top of the water.

The Backing
The FirstDart Best Cast Backing Flyline features special taper design proven over the years and coupled with different coating formulations allow consistent, precise and accurate casting along with a variety of densities.
