This repeller shoots out bursts of water for 5 seconds to frighten pests, designed to be 100% harmless to humans and animals alike. It’s equipped with a sensor that detects motion at a range of 10 metres, perfect for repelling birds, cats, dogs, rats and more. The sensor only triggers when an animal moves into the detection area.

The Pestrol Motion Sensing Water Jet Bird Scarer is powered by solar energy and two AA NIMH rechargeable batteries (included with the unit) which also get charged by solar power. It’s easy to set up. Simply push the unit into the ground with the included metal stake and connect to a garden hose for water supply. Pestrol Motion Sensing Water Jet Bird Scarer Installation:

1. Slide off outer casing to expose battery compartment. Insert 2 x AA NIMH rechargeable batteries. Thread jet-spray unit onto the top of the sensor housing and tighten carefully by hand to avoid leaks.
2. Screw metal stake and carefully push into the ground in desired location. Take care not to apply direct pressure to the sensor unit housing.
3. Ensure sensor unit is pointing in the direction of the area you wish to protect from pests. Make sure there are no obstructions in front of the PIR sensor.
4. Set the sensitivity of the PIR sensor by turning the dial at the back of the unit – 0 is OFF and 9 will sense movement approximately 10 meters in front of the PIR sensor
