Altex Multipurpose Primer is a versatile single-component primer, designed for use on many different substrates, both above and below the waterline. It boasts a rapid dry time. The unique resin and pigment blend provides unparalleled protection to suitably prepared steel, wood, GRP and sanded aged coatings.   • 6-8 hours minimum with self or AY&B Surfacer Undercoat
  • 12 hours minimum with AY&B Antifoulings & Pettit Vivid
  • Up to 30 days lightly sanded with non-lubricated sandpaper for most alkyd products
  • When exposed for more than 30 days, thoroughly sanded with non-lubricated sandpaper
