Batten fitting made easier
The Red Paddle Co RSS Batten Hook and Loop Tab attaches to your Red Paddle Co RSS batten to make fitting and removing from board pockets easier and faster. A handy accessory for your paddling adventures.
How to tips:
- Inflate board to 1-5psi when fitting or removing the batten.
- When fitting or removing the battens, put the board on its side and straddle it, either pulling the batten towards you into the pocket using the tab or pulling it out of the pocket away from you.
- Use vaseline or silicone spray on the batten to act as a lubricant.
- Wet the batten, fit it in the pocket and leave the board inflated with the batten in for a few days to a week. This helps the batten to mould the shape of the pocket.
