The Reel
The Okuma SLV 7/8B Large Arbor Alumilite Fly Reel goes toe to toe with the fast species in the water with a super large arbor spool design for blazing fast line retrieval. This reel features a die-cast aluminium frame, a precision-machined stainless steel spool shaft, a one-way roller bearing and a multi-disc cork and stainless steel drag system. Take this and reel in the big ones!
The Rod
The legendary Downunder fly series is back! First released in 1991, the new CD Rods Fly Downunder Fly Rod is a game changer. While still utilising CD Rods' unique helical wrap technology, the new Downunder is manufactured from a breakthrough material from the Toray factory. Featuring nano resin and ultra-high modulus material to provide the lightest and best actioned fly rod yet.
The CD Rods Fly Downunder Fly Rod still has the strength and fast action that all CD Rods are known for but this blank has a new level of refinement that makes every cast and fish, that much more enjoyable. The new carbon grip is super lightweight, has the sensitivity of cork but doesn't get slippery. The blank is dressed with ALPS stripper guides and diamond coated tip guide making for smooth casting and resisting line wear.
