The 5 sealed ball bearing system, including an instant-anti reverse bearing, ensures a perfectly smooth operation, even under pressure. The graphite body in combination with the machined, braid ready, aluminium spool makes this reel strong yet lightweight. The strong and durable handle comes with a special T-shaped handle knob for extra grip and comfort. The PENN RIVAL 7000 Longcast Gold Spinning Reel is a worthy weapon for the masterful angler.

The Rod
The PENN Squadron II Euro Spinning Surf Rod packs the right combination of features to deliver great performance and value for money. The perfect blend of modern carbon blank and quality guides to provide plenty of power, responsiveness, durability, and achieve long distance casting. A powerful blank in combination with a great bite detection makes this hard to beat.

NOTE:The sections fit together with a friction fit and will not initially butt up hard against each other. This allows for the normal and expected wear of the graphite sections with initial use.
