An additional bearing on the main gear improves the overall smoothness of rotation plus the handle has been upgraded to machined aluminium to improve overall strength. The Aerlex XSB also features a worm driven oscillating system (Aerowrap II). This offers a much slower oscillation and more consistent line lay, that is essential for spool release and casting distance.
