The Reel
Compact lever drag overhead with dual gears and castability — the new Shimano SpeedMaster LD II 25 2-Speed Overhead Reel is a multi-purpose reel that will slot right in to a number of offshore fishing scenarios. The Speedmaster features S Concept Design, a single piece frame, dual speed Hagane Concept gears, 4 SA-RB bearings, generous line capacities — even more so if utilising braided line such as Power Pro — and a drag range to match. On top of all this, it can also be cast, making it an incredibly versatile light/medium tackle reel.
HAGANE Body
Hagane Body means this reel has a high rigidity and zero twist. The body stiffness and impact resistance virtually eliminates body flexing. The result transforms the anglers actions directly into cranking power. It's efficiency through strength.
HAGANE Gear
Hagane Gear is at the very heart of the reel and creates strength and durability. The entire cold-forging process is calculated in minute detail by special 3D design and the result is precision durability.
S Compact Body

Featuring powerful E-Glass/carbon construction, this rod has extreme strength whilst still maintaining comfortable feel, making it perfect for fishing using electric reels, and both Tiagra and Talica reels. This rod is finished with Pac Bay guides, Aftco roller tip, and straight slick carbon butt.
