Easy-to-install Gas and Fume detection unit that sounds an alarm before the possibility of an explosion

The BEP Marine Gas Detector sounds off a warning alarm if there is an LPG or Gas leakage on board your boat or motor home. The sensor is mounted in the front face making it an easy-to-install all in one stand alone unit. Its designed to be surface mounted at the lowest point in the vehicle where fumes accumulate first. The detector is equipped with a test button and a sensor status light.

This BEP Gas Detector uses microprocessor control to ensure correct sensor sensitivity. The Detectors has the capability to control two sensors which detect both LPG and Petrol, with visual and audible alarms. There is a test switch to check operation of sensors with indicators for fault detection.

BEP Marine Gas Detector Specifications:
  • Model number: 600-GDRV
  • Power Supply: 10-32VDC
  • Alarm Sensitivity: 20% LEL (Lower explosive limit)
  • Current Draw: 70mA (milliamps)
  • Built in sensor

Note: Wiring sold separately. If the sensor gets wet then the sensor becomes inoperable and must be replaced.

For LPG and Petrol fumes: These gases are heavier than air, mount the sensor in a low dry position where the gas is likely to be. The sensor must be mounted clear of bilge water.

For CNG:This gas is lighter than air, mount the unit just below ceiling height but not above cooking or heating appliances.
