The GD-20 Gas Detector detects LPG and Petrol fumes and sounds an alarms before the concentration reaches dangerous explosive levels.

Supplied with 1 remote sensor with 3M cable that lets you place the sensor in low areas where the gas vapours collect. A second remote sensor can be added (GD 27 sold separately).

The alarm will sound as long as the sensor detects a dangerous concentration of gas or until the Wait button is pressed. The GD20 will automatically re-arm once gas vapor has subsided.

The GD20 uses new technology to lower the power requirements for the sensor.

You can minimize the power consumption using Sleep Mode, wake up and sniff every 5 minutes. If the GD-20 senses a dangerous gas, it sounds the alarm, cuts power to the LPG solenoid and deactivates sleep mode to continuously monitor the situation.

Programmable LPG on/off control. Use the UP and DOWN buttons to manually turn your LPG solenoid ON and OFF. You can also set it to automatically turn off the LPG one hour after you turn it on. You get a warning beep and then have 5 minutes to press the UP button keep the gas on.

A built-in self test program checks the electronics and calibrates the gas sensor(s) automatically in less than one minute and reports any problems.

Built-in 85 dB alarm and remote alarm output for optional LA-20 105dB alarm sounder.

LPG solenoid output can switch to 3 amps.
