Instructions for Use:
- Place the wide part of the blade at the top of the sharpening
steel at an angle of about 20º
- With a downward swiping motion, run the entire length of the
blade along the steel
- Repeat the action on the opposite side of the blade
- Continue until the knife is sharpened
Note: This sharpening steel is very fine and has the potential to clog up. Before sharpening you should always lubricate the steel with water or oil to stop the grit clogging up the steel. If it does get clogged simply wash it under running water. When you are finished, wipe the blade with a soft cloth to remove the metal dust.
