The Reel
The Shimano Alivio 10000 FA Reel is a great reel with tons of features that kiwi land-based and boat fishos look for in an affordable all-rounder. Lightweight graphite body, aluminium spool, front drag with up to 8kg of drag power and right or left hand retrieve make the Shimano Alivio reel the ideal reel for light to medium surf fishing. It also features Dyna-balanced rotor for smooth-feel oscillation, Varispeed gear and line lay to assist line management and casting, Power Roller ll and Super Stopper ll anti-reverse. With its trouble-free design, the Shimano Alivio 10000 FA Reel is one great reel for your fishing needs.

The Rod
The Shimano Spectrum Plus Spinning Rod features a glossy black and white blank, matched with specially shaped EVA grips. It features fibreglass inserted construction with an inserted glass tip for extra sensitivity and ceramic guides. Versatile and reliable rod for general-purpose fishing.
