The Shimano Sienna 2500 FG Spinning Reel is well-balanced, high performance built, and simply a pleasure to fish with. Incorporating the Propulsion Line Management System for longer casts and reduced wind knots, the Sienna uses Super Stopper II for instant anti-reverse with no back play.
Propulsion Line Management System
The most obvious component of the Propulsion Line Management System is the new Propulsion spool lip design. Through tens of thousands of casting tests and computer simulations it has been determined that this new spool lip design provides longer casting distances than a standard spool lip design while preventing backlashes and wind knots from forming. It also allows the line to flow off of the spool in smaller loops during the cast which means less slap on the stripper guide.

A great price reel, good entry level or, as in my case a good step up reel for my 8 year son. Caught about 20 plus Kahawai at the mouth with this reel. A reel that can used for shore or freshwater fishing.
