The Shimano Tyrnos 30 Overhead Reel features a ratcheting lever drag to eliminate any lever movement caused by boat vibration and a loud clicker with enough tension to hold large baits. Additional features include oversized gears to give you more power while maintaining a high-speed 5.0:1 gear ratio. An extra-long handle shank with an oversized ergonomic rubber power grip makes it easy for you to fight the fish. Shimano Tyrnos reels are constructed with die cast aluminium frames and graphite side plates to reduce weight while maintaining strength and durability.
Perfect if you want to troll for Tuna or drop livies down to big Kingfish. With a large line capacity Hapuka, Bass and Bluenose are a real option with the reel.
