The Reel
Compared to the previous generation, the new Shimano Sahara SH2500FJ Spinning Reel is lighter in weight and boasts an entirely new body and rotor design. G-Free Body technology moves the centre of gravity closer to the rod. This enhances your casting comfort and you won't feel knackered when fishing for a long time. The HAGANE Gear paired with X-Ship technology makes the reel strong and powerful so your gears stay in place even when retrieving big fish. SilentDrive technology eliminates the smallest clearance gaps and wobbles so you'll experience a less noisy and smoother reel operation. The Sahara has a screw-in handle design so you'll have enough space to crank without hitting your knuckles off the reel.
