Designed to meet the demands of Kiwi anglers, the Shimano Salty Advance Mebaru S76UL-T Spinning Rod utilises Shimano's proprietary Taftec technology in the blank, giving it excellent sensitivity and feel, whist also being robust. It features Fuji stainless K and SiC tip.

TAFTEC
Shimano TAFTEC tips utilise a pre-stretched T-3500 directional yarn fibre with low resin saturation. This directional alignment of the fibres results in much less damage during the grinding process and results in a spineless construction which tests have shown to be much stronger, lower in weight, faster in action and more sensitive. TAFTEC is used where sensitivity is an important requirement of the rod.
