Manson Anchors was founded in 1972 by seasoned offshore sailor, Kerry Mair. Based in Auckland, Manson Anchors began with the aim of manufacturing anchors suitable for the harsh conditions of New Zealand. Their products have been designed, developed, tested and sold into the most demanding regions on earth. Becoming New Zealand's largest anchor manufacturer by the year 1985, they then started exports to Australia and the Pacific Rim. Today, Manson Anchors is internationally recognized as the best leading anchor builder worldwide.
