A new generation of wind turbine with silent power blades
Wind generators are a practical and effective investment. When the
wind blows at anything more than 8 knots you will simply have all
the power you need. It's possible to greatly reduce or even
completely eliminate engine running for charging purposes in a
yacht to achieve reduced engine hours and save valuable fuel when
on a long voyage.
The Silentwind 400 Wind Generator is the result of
Silentwind's continuous improvement process. This generator has
higher efficiency due to its earlier charging start-up. It also
features faster wind tracking and stable operating performance due
to an enlarged wind-deflector. The Silentwind 400 Wind
Generator has an additional body bearing for a more
precise guidance of the wind generator and smoother operating. The
new generator has reinforced mast support for higher safety
reserves under strong winds.
